Ötztal Glacier

The breathtaking Obergurgl Glacier World is located in the heart of Tyrol in the rear Ötztal. Surrounded by imposing peaks, you benefit from perfectly groomed pistes and powder snow as well as glorious hours of sunshine away from the slopes in the ski mecca of Sölden.

The two viewing platforms at dizzying heights guarantee you not only a breathtaking experience, but also a unique view of the highest mountain in Tyrol, the Wildspitze.

An ultra-modern ski tunnel connects the two glaciers (Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers) and thus offers slopes of all levels of difficulty, from easy to intermediate to almost vertical World Cup slopes. Furthermore, you will also find a huge test center of all leading ski brands, and can thus take the opportunity to find the right skis for the upcoming winter.

The Alpine Ski World Cup celebrates the start of the season every year with all the world's ski stars. Ski connoisseurs therefore have the opportunity to see for themselves how difficult this slope is and, with a lot of effort, to try a few turns in the vertical.
