Hiking from hut to hut
4 huts of the alpine club, the Schönwieshut (2262 m) at the entrance of the Rotmoosvalley and 3 open huts invite you to easy-going hiking tours and tours in high mountain regions. From the Ramolhaus (3005 m) you enjoy the view on impressive world of glaciers and you see the Hochwildehaus (2866 m) and the Karlsruher Hut (2430 m). Stay in one of the alpine huts for a night and experience a sunrise in the middle of an unbelievable surrounding.
Königsjoch - hike along old smuggler paths
Cross the border on one of the old smuggler paths into South Tyrol. A bus takes you to Hochgurgl where the path takes you through the Königsvalley up to the Königsjoch overlooking the strinking summits of the south-alps - the Dolomites, Rosengarten and Langkofel. A bus takes you back over the Timmelsjoch (don`t forget your passport!).
Alpine panorama hike
From the Tiefenbachglacier to Vent. A new hiking path takes you from the car park of the Tiefenbachglacier in Sölden to Vent. The track is descends along the Ventvalley and gives sensational glances in the mountain world of the Ötztal and the Stubaibtal. A bus takes you to the glacier and back home from Vent.
Zirmkogl (3280 m)
A summit experience for slightly advanced hikers. The ascent over the Seenplatte to the Gurgler Schartl (2932 m) takes some effort but the last meters over the Stockferner get easier. The spectacular scenery when standing on the peak makes up for the hard work.
Glaciertour
Hike over the Rotmoosferner to the Zwickauerhütte (2980 m). Take the lift up to the Hohe Mut (2670 m) and hike along the Mutsattel to the foot of the glacier. With a rope team you hike over the white glacier up to the Rotmoosjoch (3055 m) and cross the border into Italy to the Zwickauerhütte. Have a rest and hike down to Pfelders. A bus takes you over the Timmelsjoch back to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.
